Flagship Retail Manager
Our client is a new voice in the world of niche fragrance — a brand where imagination, colour and craftsmanship meet to create something truly unique. Founded in 2023 they have already captured international attention for its visionary approach to scent and storytelling.
More than a fragrance label, they are an evolving creative universe — a place where scent becomes experience, and connection is at the heart of everything we do. As they expand their presence across London’s most iconic department stores, they’re looking for a talented leader to join our journey.
They’re seeking a Flagship Retail Manager / Brand Ambassador to lead their counters at Selfridges and Liberty London.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who lives and breathes luxury retail. You’ll inspire, guide and empower your team to deliver exceptional service and unforgettable brand experiences. Acting as both manager and storyteller, you’ll bring their worId to life for every customer who steps up to the counter.
You’ll also have the opportunity to represent them beyond the shop floor — from events and activations to training sessions and regional visits — helping to share their story with a wider audience.
Responsibilities
- Lead by example to inspire a motivated, high-performing sales team
- Create an engaging and inviting atmosphere where customers feel valued and inspired
- Deliver memorable fragrance experiences that reflect the creativity and ethos of the brand
- Nurture your team’s growth through regular coaching, feedback and development plans
- Cultivate lasting client relationships and encourage brand loyalty through personalised service
- Maintain impeccable visual presentation and operational excellence across both counters
- Monitor performance data and use insights to improve results and elevate the customer journey
- Support with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members
- Collaborate with both their HQ and department store partners to ensure seamless day-to-day operations
- Represent the brand at launches, press events and other brand initiatives, embodying our values and spirit
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience in luxury retail management, ideally within fragrance, beauty or fashion
- A confident communicator with a natural ability to lead, coach and inspire others
- Strong commercial awareness with a focus on driving results through people and storytelling
- A genuine passion for fragrance and a deep appreciation for design and creativity
- Charisma and warmth, with the ability to engage customers through authentic conversation
- Organised, proactive and able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced retail environment
- A collaborative mindset and an eagerness to contribute to a growing brand
- Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends, evenings and key trading periods
