Job Description:
- Kettler GB Ltd is pleased to announce the recruitment of an additional Area Sales Manager to the UK team. The successful candidate will manage existing and future customers in the important region of East Anglia and the South East.
- Home based, the Area Sales Manager will schedule regular meetings with garden centre buyers to understand requirements, build relationships and recommend products that deliver mutual sales benefits.
Responsibilities Include:
- Effective time management to maximise customer contact
- Building customer relationships at all levels
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Creating persuasive product presentations
- Achieving targeted KPIs
- Negotiating trading terms to achieve sales and margin expectations
- Internal and external communication using Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Attend trade exhibitions (Solex)

Candidate Profile:
In order to achieve the highest levels of success for Kettler and for their customers we are looking for an Area Sales Manager who can bring:
- A proven track record of field sales success in the garden centre sector
- Or retail experience from a garden centre with a deep understanding of the garden leisure category and a strong desire to move into field sales.
- Highly professional and committed to delivering outstanding results
- Superb people skills and able to build relationships at all levels
- Internally driven and determined to be successful
- A competent user of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Commercially astute – able to negotiate price points and margins
