Location: London, EC3V 9BQ Hours of work: 50 Contract Type: Permanent We are seeking a Security Supervisor to take responsibility for all security operations within their portfolio, ensuring the safety of personnel, protection of infrastructure, and delivery of a professional, high-quality service. Job Description In this role, you will lead and support the security team to ensure all activities are carried out in line with policies and procedures, while also being confident in using your initiative when managing incidents. Working closely with operational management, you’ll help maintain high standards of service that positively represent both the client and the organisation. This is a great opportunity for a motivated security professional to step into a leadership role and make a real impact. Key Responsibilities Manage security teams, rotas, rollcalls, and shift administrationEnsure adherence to SOPs, AIs, Risk Assessments, and staffing plans
Act as Incident Commander during alarms or incidents, ensuring escalation procedures are followed
Oversee induction, training, mentoring, and appraisal reviews for staff
Maintain high standards of security, safety, and performance across all sites
Complete accurate, timely incident and quality inspection reports
Promote team spirit, cooperation, and professional standards within the security team Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications Completed ISS Contract Supervisor course with proven first-line management experience
Strong leadership skills with attention to detail and the ability to lead by example
Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal abilities
Highly organised with strong time management and ability to work under pressure
Experienced in incident and emergency management, including fire safety knowledge
Physically fit, flexible, and able to meet site demands, including stairs and long periods standing
