OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Claims Executive to join our growing Real Estate team. This role involves managing clients and claims, demonstrating advanced problem resolution skills and the ability to communicate effectively with key accounts. The successful candidate will provide coverage advice, advocate for the best possible outcomes for clients, and lead client meetings and claims reviews.
How you'll make an impactKey Responsibilities:
Claims Handling:
- Provide technical advice for complex claims, managing expectations regarding the claim process, policy, and legal liability.
- Manage claims from receipt to conclusion, ensuring compliance with FCA protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Arrange appointments with loss adjusters or suppliers, liaise with senior claims colleagues, and ensure timely processing of claims notifications.
- Proactively assess claim status and ensure all parties are informed of progress.
Customer Service:
- Lead tailored Claims Customer Engagement with identified clients, building strong relationships to promote satisfaction.
- Communicate complex information clearly and seek customer feedback for continuous improvement
Develop the Claims Function Strategy:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify revenue opportunities and implement change programs.
- Process complex issues and delegate outcomes, maintaining accurate records and productivity targets.
- Proven experience in claims handling, particularly within the real estate sector.
- Experience holding delegated authority
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage complex insurance arrangements and provide technical advice.
- Experience in data analysis and interpretation.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry practices.
