Senior Product Marketing Manager
Oritain is the global leader in product verification, with locations in Auckland, Dunedin, London, Singapore and Washington D.C. Our vision is to be the source of truth in global supply chains and our mission is to harness science, technology and services to create a community of origin verified buyers and suppliers, protecting our people and planet.
About the Role:
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our growing global team. This is a pivotal role at the intersection of science and storytelling; an opportunity to influence strategy, shape market perception, and drive the growth of solutions that make a tangible difference in the world.
You’ll work closely with our Chief Marketing Officer in New Zealand and our Chief Product & Technology Officer in London, bridging global teams and time zones. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment where curiosity, collaboration, and creativity come together- a place where you can make a real impact, take ownership of your work, and lead initiatives that help Oritain and our partners aim higher.
As a trusted voice of the market within Oritain, you’ll develop a deep understanding of our customers and competitive landscape. You’ll craft clear, compelling product narratives and turn insights into strategies that drive growth and adoption across our product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
You’ll lead the go-to-market strategy and execution for new product launches, ensuring every release is positioned for success with effective messaging and impactful sales enablement. Partnering closely with our Product and Sales teams, you’ll translate market intelligence into actionable product enhancements and develop persuasive value propositions that resonate globally.
Collaboration will be at the heart of what you do. Working alongside marketing communications and growth teams, you’ll shape campaigns that inspire engagement- spanning digital channels, events, and thought leadership initiatives. You’ll help sales and customer success teams bring our impact to life through customer stories, testimonials, and case studies that demonstrate the value of Oritain’s solutions.
As our product marketing function grows, you’ll play a key role in setting its foundations and building internal appreciation for the discipline. You’ll take ownership of performance metrics, provide insights for continuous improvement, and stay attuned to emerging trends to ensure Oritain continues to lead the way in product verification and traceability.
To be effective in this role, some out-of-hours collaboration will be required with teams in New Zealand and the USA.
Skills & Experience:
You’ll bring 5+ years of proven experience in product marketing, ideally within a technology or science-driven enterprise environment such as a B2B marketplace or scale-up. You’re a strategic thinker with the ability to turn insights into actionable plans and a strong record of driving successful product launches and revenue growth.
You’ll have excellent communication and presentation skills, able to influence and collaborate effectively across teams and senior stakeholders. You combine an analytical mindset with creative problem-solving, using data and insight to inform decision-making. You’re self-motivated, results-driven, and thrive in dynamic, fast-moving environments.
Experience in forensic science, traceability, or related industries is highly advantageous.
A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is also desirable, but not essential.
