Business & Economics Teacher – Mentor High-Achieving Leaders - Newham
A highly regarded, academic independent Specialized Sixth Form College, in Newham, is recruiting a Business and Economics Teacher from January 2026.
- Business & Economics Specialist required from January 2026

You will teach A-Level Business Studies and A-Level Economics (focusing on A*-A attainment). The role includes running bespoke sessions on financial literacy, investment, and leading student participation in prestigious business essay competitions .
Experience and Qualifications
- A strong degree and significant experience in teaching A-Level Economics to high achievers
- Proven ability to integrate current commercial affairs and global financial analysis into teaching
- Experience in a pastoral role (e.g., Form Tutor) with academic oversight
- Outstanding ability to mentor students through rigorous interview processes
