Nanny-Housekeeper

Working mum of two boys (aged 11 and 14) seeking part time nanny/housekeeper to take care of her kids and provide some support at home. The hours will be approx 7.30am - 8.45/9am (Mon - Fri) and 4pm - approx 8pm (Mon - Thurs), with light housekeeping in daytime and occasional babysitting. Potentially more hours during the school summer holidays. We have a cleaner who comes weekly.
The boys cycle themselves to and from school, so the mornings will involve making sure the kids have breakfast, a packed lunch to take for school and helping them leave on time. The boys are very sporty and active, and will often be out in the evenings. After school, they go to cycle training locally with friends/other parents. They usually have a meal straight after school (they are always hungry!) and something light when they get back from training. Both boys will need to do homework every day during term-time, which would be overseen/managed by the person who takes this role (just to make sure they have done it!).
I work as a full-time media lawyer in a TV production company, and as a single parent I am hoping to find someone who has a little flexibility around additional hours if required e.g. on the rare occasion I am asked to attend an unplanned work event in the evening or if the children are at home ill.
We live in a lovely quiet neighbourhood in Zone 2 of London. We have a 5 bedroom house with sunny garden and 3 friendly cats. I'm a fun-loving and relaxed person who likes having other people living in the house. We have had a number of amazing au pairs in the past, who all remain family friends - references can be provided.
My boys are both a bit older now, so the sort of support we need is from someone kind, caring and empathetic who is ideally used to working with older kids.
