Customer Quality Engineer
As Customer Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring effective problem-solving techniques are applied to customer complaints and technical escalations. You will also report on customer quality activities and ensure accurate and timely KPI reporting. You will support continuous improvement activity across the business, helping to prevent repeat issues and ensuring customer requirements are met in an effective and cost-conscious way. You will also lead and arrange internal and external product and process compliance audits, capture and feed back the voice of the customer, and ensure customer returns are managed efficiently and effectively. In addition, this role includes line management responsibility, where you will motivate and encourage your team, support appraisal input, and help develop the skills and capabilities of team members.
We are looking for someone with relevant experience in a customer-facing quality role, with excellent problem-solving skills and experience leading or supporting a Quality Management System. You should have experience and working knowledge of ISO 9001, along with knowledge and use of common quality tools and continuous improvement methods, including 8D, Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing. Previous line management experience is essential, with a proven track record of leading, coaching and developing teams to achieve both individual and business objectives You will be organised, detail-focused and confident working with a range of stakeholders, acting as a key liaison between technical, design and operations teams. Ideally, you will also be a trained ISO 9001:2015 internal auditor.,- Experience in a customer-facing quality role.

This is a key role within the business, acting as the focal point for customer complaints, technical escalations and customer returns across Peak's global network. Working collaboratively with teams across the business, you will help ensure customer concerns are managed effectively, root causes are understood, and corrective actions are implemented to support continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
