Dynamic Grounds Person / Second Climber Job - Orpington
Tree surgeon jobs in Kent
- Second Climber to provide all aspects of Tree Surgery services including Aerial Rescue Crown Maintenance, Aerial Tree Dismantling and assisting the lead climber on a day-to-day basis.
- Working alongside the Supervisor and Lead Climber to understand each job’s requirements, including Risk Assessments, Method Statements and all health and safety requirements
- Utilise Mobile Elevated Work Platforms when and where appropriate. (Training for this will be provided where not qualified)
- Ensure machinery is fully maintained in accordance with PUWER.

Preferred Skills
- Valid and clean Driver’s License
- Good plant identification and pest and disease knowledge
- Hold relevant Tree Surgery and Aerial Certificates to CS41 including MEWP.
- Motivated with a good personal presentation.
- Organisational skills to manage your own and the team’s time in a fast paced environment, and be able to use initiative in making decisions
