Year 2 Teacher | Newham

Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across the Year 2 curriculum
Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and independence in the classroom
Work closely with teaching assistants and the SENCO to provide tailored support
Maintain accurate records of pupils’ progress and achievements
Foster strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching KS1 pupils and knowledge of the Year 2 curriculum

Enthusiastic about contributing to wider school life
