Deckers Brands Manager, Payroll - EMEA (15 months FTC)
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of payroll specialists, fostering a positive and collaborative environment
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for all EMEA countries, ensuring compliance with local legislation and company standards
- Audit and approve payrolls, maintaining accuracy and integrity of payroll accounts
- Initiate and drive process improvements, automation, and efficiency initiatives
- Manage team capacity planning, workload distribution, and succession planning
- Serve as the primary escalation point for payroll compliance, audit findings, and regulatory queries
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (HR, Retail Operations) and external payroll partners
- Represent Payroll in monthly financial close activities, ensuring accurate reporting, accruals, and journals
- Maintain and update payroll systems (Kronos, Oracle, ADP), aligning with business needs
- Participate in and lead payroll-related projects and initiatives
- A team player, who thrives working in a cross functional collaborative environment
- Excellent communicator and confident in engaging with stakeholders at all levels
- Self-starter with initiative, resilience, and a positive outlook

- Experienced payroll professional with extensive experience in a multinational EMEA payroll function
- Certified Payroll Professional (CIPP) certification is preferred
- Proven managerial experience, able to lead by example and inspire your team
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organized, thriving in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled in payroll and HR software (ADP, Workday, Oracle, Kronos)
- Knowledgeable about SOX compliance and technical aspects of payroll processing
