A thriving independent day school for boys aged 11-18 situated in the heart of Westminster, London, and part of a leading global group of premium schools (Inspired Education), is seeking an experienced and collaborative Teacher of Chemistry for a Permanent, Full-Time position starting January 2026.

The Role

  • The successful Teacher of Chemistry will deliver a rigorous academic education in Chemistry across Key Stages 3, 4 (GCSE), and 5 (A-Level).
  • The Teacher of Chemistry will work with small class sizes and dedicated staff to foster intellectual curiosity and academic excellence in all pupils.
  • This role requires the Teacher of Chemistry to contribute fully to the broad educational experience and strong pastoral care by serving as a Form Tutor.
  • The Teacher of Chemistry will contribute to the School’s co-curricular activities, enhancing the life of the School.

Requirements

  • A good degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) are highly desirable, with proven ability to teach Chemistry to A-Level.
  • A strong commitment to the continuous personal development programme offered to staff by the school and its wider educational group.
  • We seek a highly professional Teacher of Chemistry with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a dynamic and welcoming school community.
