Behaviour Mentor | Outstanding Primary School in Westminster
Immediate Start | Long-Term Role | Transformative Opportunity to Inspire Change

Are you a passionate and resilient Behaviour Mentor ready to make a lasting impact on young lives? Do you have the skills, empathy and drive to help pupils overcome barriers to learning and thrive both in and out of the classroom? If so, this could be the perfect role for you.

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to join an exceptional primary school in Westminster. You will play a vital role in supporting children with social, emotional and behavioural needs, helping them to develop confidence, resilience and positive learning habits. This is a rewarding position for someone who wants to empower young people to succeed.

The School
This ambitious and inclusive Westminster primary school is renowned for its commitment to nurturing the whole child. With a strong emphasis on emotional intelligence and personal development, the school provides a safe and structured environment where every child is valued and supported to achieve their very best. The leadership team promotes a culture of collaboration, respect and growth — not just for pupils, but for staff too. Training, mentoring and career progression opportunities are readily available, making this an excellent place to develop your skills as a Behaviour Mentor.

Behaviour Mentor requirements:
· Proven experience supporting children or young people with social, emotional and behavioural needs (in school, youth work or mentoring settings)
· Calm, patient and emotionally intelligent, with the ability to de-escalate challenging situations effectively
· Passionate about making a positive impact on children’s wellbeing and learning outcomes
· Skilled at implementing behaviour intervention strategies and restorative approaches
· Able to work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, pastoral staff and external professionals
· Committed to promoting inclusion, building trust and modelling positive behaviour

The Role
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:
· Work 1:1 and in small groups to support pupils in managing emotions and behaviour
· Build positive relationships and provide consistent, structured guidance
· Help pupils re-engage with learning and develop strategies for long-term success
· Support teachers in creating calm, positive learning environments

Application
If you are passionate about helping children build confidence, resilience and a love of learning, we want to hear from you. Please send your CV and a short cover letter outlining your experience and motivation for applying.
