We combine exceptional teacher-made content with cutting-edge technology to provide fantastic affordable education to all learners globally, regardless of background.

We’re one of Europe’s fastest-growing EdTech companies. Since 2018 we’ve grown from a startup of four friends to almost 110 people. Our brilliant colleagues include specialists across education, engineering, product, learning design and marketing.

We’re remote-first! While our main office is in London, our team is composed of over 110 people (and counting) working from 10 countries.

The role

We’re looking for a talented Web Designer with strong graphic design skills and a passion for creating visually stunning, user-focused digital experiences. You’ll be responsible for designing and building websites that are both beautiful and functional, primarily using Figma for design and Webflow for development.

In addition to web design, you’ll play a key graphic design role, creating high-quality visual assets for lead gen, social media, digital campaigns and print. From marketing materials and brand collateral to social posts and event graphics, you’ll ensure every touchpoint reflects our brand identity and engages our audience.

If you’re passionate about creating memorable design and web experiences and you’re ready to grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

What you will do:

  • Design visually engaging, user-centered website layouts, components, and interactions in Figma.
  • Build responsive, high-quality websites in Webflow from concept to completion.
  • Produce final design assets across socials, email, web and print to a high standard, following specifications and guidelines
  • Develop and maintain design systems, ensuring brand consistency across all digital assets.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and developer teams to deliver cohesive digital experiences.
  • Optimize designs for performance, accessibility, and usability. Stay up to date with design trends, UX/UI best practices, and emerging Webflow capabilities.
  • Aid with vector illustration projects and adapt artwork for different channels
  • Take on photography finding and editing tasks
  • Use feedback from other designers and team members to enhance your skills

Who you are:

  • High proficiency in Figma and Webflow (design and build).
  • High proficiency in design software and graphics editing tools (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign)
  • Solid understanding of UX/UI principles, responsive design, and web accessibility.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS fundamentals (no coding required, but beneficial).
  • A keen eye for detail, brand aesthetics and consistency
  • Excellent understanding of graphic design principles
  • Positive attitude, team player, and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic startup environment
  • Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative problem-solving aptitude

Experience that will set you apart…

  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Experience with vector illustration

Benefits

  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays;
  • 3 days winter leave;
  • Work anywhere in the UK or within GMT +/-2 hours time zone; we're a remote-first company, with the option to use our Holborn office;
  • Annual L&D budget;
  • Private medical with Vitality Health;
  • Access to wellbeing platform;
  • Enhanced family leave;
  • Monthly remote and in-person events in London;
  • High degree of autonomy and exposure to the running of all business areas of a successful startup;
  • Brilliant colleagues and the opportunity to become an integral member of a fast-growing tech company.
