IT Support Level 3 Apprenticeship - Jellycat

Responsibilities:
- Help quickly resolve service requests and incidents from end users.
- Fixing and moving PCs and printers.
- Data entry in relation to IT system support.
- Assisting IT service members with tasks.
- Shipping and procuring IT equipment.
- Patching and cabling across the IT estate.
- Supporting AV systems in meeting rooms.
- System performance checks and auditing including daily backup and security routines.
Desirable skills:
- Must be collaborative and prepared to work as part of a team, using their voice and insight as well as assisting or carrying out other duties during periods of high workload, sickness, holidays, and emergencies.
- The post holder will be a good problem solver, able to make decisions quickly within their remit and escalate issues quickly.
- The post holder will actively seek development opportunities, undertake self-study, acquire new knowledge, and suggest formal training requirements.
- The post holder will be seen as a proponent of change, utilising appropriate levels of governance in conjunction with the right pace for a fast-moving small business.
- The post-holder will be expected to contribute and produce suitable documentation to support knowledge management and training for broader audiences.
Entry requirements:
- 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject.
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above).
- Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject.
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
Working hours:
37.5 hours per week.
