Marketing Manager - Community & Local Activation (Endura)
We’re Pentland Brands; a dynamic, global family business, and proud owners and licensees of many iconic active and footwear brands. With a community of over 1,300 team members worldwide, we embrace diversity and inclusion, and champion growth and development. Our success is built on teamwork, courage, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
WHAT’S THE MISSION FOR THIS ROLE?
As Marketing Manager – Community & Local Activation, you’ll be the driving force behind Endura’s presence in your market. Your mission is to connect deeply with local cycling communities, Endura Athletes, Friends of Endura, creators, and media—ensuring the brand shows up with relevance, credibility, and impact. Aligned with our global Community Strategy, you will activate Endura where it matters most: engaging local communities, fostering authentic relationships, and collaborating with creators and partners to bring the brand to life in your market.
WHAT DOES THIS ROLE DO?
You will be responsible for driving community-led brand activation in-market by:
Building deep relationships with local dirt communities, creators, influencers, press, retailers, and locally relevant partners.
Organising and delivering community-focused activations such as ride-outs, meet-ups, workshops, or creator-led experiences that strengthen Endura’s presence and connection in the market.
Identifying, briefing, and managing local content creators to produce relevant content aligned to global product launches and storytelling.
Leading local product seeding across creators, athletes, media, and community partners to drive authentic product advocacy.
Activating Endura through local partnerships, sponsorships, and events that elevate brand relevance and help us win locally.
Acting as the bridge between the local market and the global Social & Community team — ensuring full alignment with our global brand strategy, creative direction, and campaign priorities.
Sharing local insights, creator trends, community opportunities, and cultural shifts with the global team to shape future content and strategy.
Rolling up feedback, results and learnings from local activations to demonstrate impact on brand visibility, sentiment, and community engagement.
Ensuring all activity reflects Endura global brand identity, community-first principles, and compliance standards.
Important: This role does not manage local social media channels. Endura will only operate one global account. Your impact comes from local activation, community building, local intelligence and creator partnerships — not channel management.
WHAT DO I BRING TO THE ROLE?
To stand out in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
Proven experience in community management, creator partnerships, brand activation, or experiential marketing — within cycling, lifestyle or culture-driven brands.
Solid understanding of the cycling industy, enabling authentic engagement and credible storytelling that resonates with core enthusiasts and broader audiences.
A natural connector mindset — you thrive at building relationships with creators, cycling communities, press, retailers, and community leaders.
Strong experience delivering on-the-ground activations, from community events to creator-led moments, product seeding, or partnership activity.
The ability to brief, guide, and manage creators or small production teams to produce high-quality, locally relevant content.
Strong organisational and project management skills across multiple activations, relationships, and timelines.
Collaboration skills — especially working with a global HQ for alignment, direction, content, creative assets, and reporting.
A passion for cycling, community-building, and shaping culture at a grassroots level.
