We're looking for an experienced Technical Architect with excellent Revit skills to join our Development Consultancy team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for an ARB registered professional with a proven track record to contribute to challenging and rewarding projects.

The Opportunity: Your Impact & What You'll Do

You will be an integral part of our project teams, working closely with experienced leaders and contributing your unique vision and technical expertise to shape inspiring spaces. Our thriving Development Consultancy team offers expertise across a variety of sectors, with services that relate to the full lifecycle of a building or a development.

Your key contributions will include:

  • Collaborate & Co-Create: Work seamlessly under the direction of a Project Leader, Associate, Senior Associate, Associate Director, or Director as a vital part of a high performing project group, contributing to a shared vision.
  • Innovate & Deliver: Produce precise, creative, and technically sound design and production information, ensuring strict adherence to agreed project programmes and deadlines.
  • Champion Excellence: Maintain and champion our rigorous technical and design standards, aligning with studio policy to ensure consistently outstanding outcomes.
  • Staying Ahead: Proactively monitor and integrate current technical developments, legislative changes, and industry best practices into your work, keeping us at the forefront of the profession.
  • Communicate & Solve: Provide regular, clear progress updates and proactively identify and communicate any potential technical or design challenges, proposing innovative solutions.
  • Engage On-Site: Undertake essential site visits and actively participate in site and project team meetings, representing the practice professionally and insightfully.
  • Grow & Develop: Embrace a programme of Continuous Professional Development (CPD), actively seeking out training and further development opportunities to expand your skills and expertise.
  • Lead When Ready: Confidently undertake the duties of a Project Leader in accordance with our procedures when so designated, guiding projects to successful completion.
  • Adapt & Contribute: Be flexible and adaptable, undertaking diverse duties of a similar nature as determined by senior leadership, contributing to the broader success of the practice.
  • Ensure Quality: Diligently adhere to the Practice's Quality and Environmental Management System (Q&EMS) procedures, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and quality in all we do.

What You'll Bring

We're excited to welcome a Technical Architect who is passionate about s technical design and thrives in a collaborative, dynamic environment. If you have hands-on experience of technical design and construction detailing for existing build, and external cladding packages preparation (RIBA stages 3 - 4), along with excellent Revit knowledge, we'd love to hear from you.

To thrive in this role, you will ideally possess:

  • Professional Qualification & Conduct: Registered Architect (ARB) with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in professional practice, ethical conduct, and a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Design & Delivery Excellence: A powerful and insightful portfolio that vividly showcases your design creativity, technical excellence, and impactful contributions across a range of successful architectural projects, with a proven ability to lead projects through all stages of design and delivery, from concept to completion.
  • Technical & Contextual Knowledge: Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of UK building regulations, planning policies, and contemporary construction methods, ensuring compliance and best practice. This includes a deep understanding of building typologies, materials, construction techniques, and a specific expertise in Fire and Life Safety requirements across various project scales and complexities.
  • Digital Literacy & BIM Proficiency: Exceptional proficiency in industry standard software (including Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp) and a comprehensive understanding of BIM workflows, enabling efficient and innovative project delivery. A demonstrated aptitude for embracing new technologies and enhancing digital literacy within architectural practice.
  • Communication & Presentation Mastery: Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, allowing you to articulate complex ideas with clarity, engage diverse stakeholders, and build strong, collaborative relationships. Adept at both written and verbal communication for internal teams and external clients.
  • Collaborative Spirit & Leadership: A genuinely collaborative spirit, thriving in team environments and adept at fostering strong, positive working relationships built on mutual respect and shared goals. Proven ability to guide junior colleagues, take initiative, and contribute to the successful leadership and management of project teams.

A strong understanding of the broader impact of design on the environment and society.
