Art Teacher
You would be joining a vibrant and successful Art department where creativity, innovation and artistic excellence are celebrated. The department benefits from spacious studios, specialist ceramics and printmaking facilities, digital art technology and an extensive range of professional-quality materials that allow students to explore a wide variety of artistic disciplines.
Students are encouraged to develop technical skills alongside their own creative style through drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media and digital design. Lessons promote experimentation, independent thinking and critical evaluation while preparing students exceptionally well for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
The department offers an extensive enrichment programme including gallery visits, artist workshops, annual exhibitions, national competitions and collaborative projects with local creative organisations. Teachers work together to create inspiring lessons that encourage every student to develop confidence and ambition in their artistic abilities.
