Quality Inspector
Term: Permanent
Salary: £29,500 - £35,000 (doe) benefits We are working with an established electro-mechanical manufacturing company seeking a Quality Inspector to support quality assurance across production and supply chain activities. Key Responsibilities for a Quality Inspector: Carry out inspection and testing of materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards
Support quality processes including audits, documentation, and continuous improvement activities
Investigate non-conformances and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions
Maintain quality records, calibration systems, and support traceability across production
Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure consistent quality performance
Assist with supplier quality activities and general quality system complianceRequirements for a Quality Inspector: Previous experience within a quality or inspection role in a manufacturing environment
Understanding of quality standards and structured quality systems (e.g. ISO environments)
Strong attention to detail with a methodical and process-driven approach
Good communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced settingThis position could be referred to as Quality Inspector , Quality Control Engineer, Inspector, Mechanical Inspector , Quality Assurance Inspector, Quality Engineer, Quality Technician If you have experience in quality control or inspection within a manufacturing environment and are comfortable working in a fast-paced engineering setting, we’d be keen to hear from you
