Job Title: Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant (Secondary Schools - Bexley)
Location: Various Secondary Schools across Bexley
Contract Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
Start Date: Immediate or ASAP
Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and helping them reach their full potential? We are seeking dedicated, enthusiastic, and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join inclusive and welcoming secondary schools across Bexley .
About the RoleAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, social and emotional needs, and learning difficulties. Working closely with teachers and the SEN team, you'll provide one-to-one and small group support, helping students to engage, learn, and thrive in a positive classroom environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide tailored support to students with SEN in and out of the classroom
Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
Foster an inclusive and nurturing learning environment
Encourage independence and confidence in each student
Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to the SEN team
