We are working with an Ofsted-rated "Outstanding" mixed secondary school in Haringey recruiting for a Mathematics ECT. This school is a regional Lead for the Early Career Framework (ECF), offering one of the most robust induction programs in North London.
The Role You will teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, benefiting from a 20% reduced timetable in your first year. The role focuses on mastery-led instruction and utilizes a centralized resource bank to support your initial planning workload. Key responsibilities include:
Delivering high-impact Mathematics lessons within a structured department
Engaging in weekly 1:1 instructional coaching sessions with a Subject Mentor
Utilizing evidence-based practices such as retrieval and dual-coding
Tracking student progress using the school’s diagnostic data tools
Completing the statutory ECF induction with dedicated PPA time
