Role Information
The school is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging History Teacher to join a successful Humanities Department. You will teach History across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching available for an experienced practitioner.
The role involves delivering lessons that develop students’ analytical skills, historical understanding, and ability to evaluate evidence. You will prepare students for GCSE and A Level examinations and contribute to curriculum planning and assessment design.
You may also support enrichment activities such as history clubs, lectures, and educational visits.
Requirements
• QTS and a degree in History or a related subject
• Experience teaching History at secondary level
• Strong subject knowledge and exam specification familiarity
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Passion for historical enquiry and student engagement
