Client Account Manager / Sales Executive - SaaS (Software as a Service)
Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 base salary + commission & benefits
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Client Account Manager / Sales Executive with experience in Software as a Service (SaaS) to join a dynamic and growing team. This role will focus on managing and expanding client relationships while driving sales within the SaaS sector.
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, building strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities for upselling, and helping to ensure customer success with our client’s products. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for SaaS sales and excellent communication skills to take the next step in their career.
The Role
- Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent service delivery and support.
- Understand client needs and align them with the right SaaS solutions, driving customer satisfaction and retention.
- Sales & Revenue Generation:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within your client portfolio.
- Negotiate and close deals with clients to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Upsell and cross-sell additional services and products to existing clients to maximise revenue.
- Client Onboarding & Support:
- Ensure smooth onboarding of new clients, working with the technical and customer support teams to ensure successful implementation.
- Provide ongoing support and product training to clients to ensure high adoption and usage.
- Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, customer support, and technical teams, to deliver exceptional service to clients.
- Track client activity and sales progress using CRM systems, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting.
- Provide regular updates to management regarding sales performance and customer satisfaction.
The Person
- Proven Sales Experience – 2+ years of experience in sales or account management within the SaaS industry, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong Communication Skills – Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Client-Focused Approach – Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Knowledge of SaaS Solutions – Understanding of SaaS products and solutions, with the ability to explain technical features in a simple and compelling way.
- Problem Solving – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to think strategically to meet client needs.
- CRM Proficiency – Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.
- Target-Oriented – Comfortable working in a target-driven environment with a focus on achieving sales goals.
- Education – A degree or relevant experience in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with the [specific SaaS product or platform your client offers].
- Knowledge of the [relevant industry, e.g., finance, healthcare, education] market.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
