Product Manager
All the details
We’re looking for a Product Manager to play a key role in the end-to-end transformation of our Fashion, Home & Beauty business.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of how we work, supporting critical business programmes and enabling new digital ways of working across our Fashion, Home & Beauty technology landscape. You’ll act as the voice of the customer, working closely with Product, Engineering, Data, Reporting and Transformation teams to define product vision, shape roadmaps and deliver solutions that are valuable, viable, usable and feasible.
You’ll bring together customer insight, business priorities and technical understanding to drive product strategy, manage the backlog and deliver meaningful outcomes that support our transformation journey.
Due to high interest, this role may close earlier than advertised. We recommend applying as soon as possible.
What you’ll do
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Own and shape the product strategy, vision and roadmap for products supporting our Fashion, Home & Beauty transformation.
- Work closely with business, product and technical partners to align priorities, manage the backlog and deliver measurable value.
- Act as the voice of the customer, translating business and customer needs into clear product outcomes, OKRs and success measures.
- Support the successful adoption of DevOps ways of working, including operational readiness, incident triage and continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships across Product, Engineering, Data, Reporting, Transformation and business teams to support cross-product priorities and maturity.
Who you are
Your skills and experience will include:
- Experience in product management, including creating product strategies, shaping roadmaps and delivering successful products from concept through to launch and optimisation.
- Strong understanding of data quality, reporting, analytics and product health or performance metrics.
- Experience working in a DevOps environment, ideally where services require 24/7 operational support.
- Confident working with cross-functional teams, balancing customer, business and technical priorities to deliver the right outcomes.
- Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to define OKRs, make data-led decisions and influence stakeholders effectively.
Experience within clothing retail, large-scale transformation programmes or auditable data environments would be beneficial, but not essential.
What’s in it for you?
Working at M&S means being part of something bigger — helping to deliver quality, value and service to millions of customers every day. We’re inclusive, fast-moving and always evolving, with a strong sense of purpose and a focus on doing the right thing.
Here are just a few of the benefits that make working here even more rewarding:
- 20% colleague discount on all M&S products and many third-party brands for you and someone in your household, available once you’ve completed your probation
- Competitive holiday allowance with the option to buy more
- Discretionary bonus schemes linked to your performance and ours
- Strong pension and life assurance to help plan for the future
- Tailored induction and training to support your development from day one
- Exclusive perks and savings through our M&S Choices portal
- Market-leading family policies, including parental, adoption and neonatal leave
- 24/7 wellbeing support, including virtual GP access and mental health services
- One paid volunteer day a year to support a cause that matters to you
