Your Role As our Philanthropy Manager, you will be tasked with generating income and support to aid the young people using our services to access creative tools, facilities and employment within the creative industries. Working towards a team goal of £700,000 in 2026, you will oversee the work of junior team members whilst working closely with the Head of Philanthropy, Events Manager and Principal Gift Lead. You will directly support the creative studios which sit below our venue, and work to develop your own portfolio of 90 prospects and donors, including four and five figure level donors. This fast-paced, varied role will see you researching prospects from recent events and engaging with them, giving tours of our facilities and getting passionate about our youth programme. You might choose to end the day in our members’ bar, connecting with supporters enjoying a gig, after catching up with our young entrepreneurs, so you can report on their activity. We’ve got ambitious targets for the next few years, and we need your enthusiasm and engagement to ensure we reach them. Sometimes you will be expected to work evenings and weekends to meet these targets as we’re hoping to hit £1m in 2028 as part of an overall goal of £6m. About You To be considered as our Philanthropy Manager, you will need: - At least three years' previous experience in managing a portfolio of prospects and donors and securing gifts toward charitable aims or projects
- Experience of managing staff or volunteers
- Experience of working in a team towards a shared fundraising goal
- The willingness to bring your own ideas to the table that utilise your skills and experience Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must have a current and acceptable DBS check or be willing to undertake one. The closing date for this role is the 31st March 2026.
