Marine Broker Support
A well-established global Lloyd’s Broker is looking to appoint an experienced Marine Broker Support professional to join their collaborative and high-performing Marine team. This is a key role supporting the placement and servicing of a diverse international portfolio of Marine risks.
The position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of the London Market to take the next step in their career, working closely with placing brokers and clients.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full pre- and post-placement process, including documentation, Evidence of Cover, and endorsements
Act as a key liaison between clients, brokers, underwriters, and internal teams
Maintain strong relationships with clients and markets, ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness
Support the broking team with marketing materials, contract renewals, and compliance checks
Coordinate with compliance, legal, and actuarial teams to ensure regulatory standards are met
Contribute to the preparation of reports, presentations, and data analysis to support placements and renewals
Assist in drafting slips and reviewing market documentation for accuracy and compliance
Previous experience in a broker support or technical role within the London Market, ideally within Marine insurance
Strong understanding of classes such as Marine Hull, Cargo, IV, War, and Liability
Confident working with documentation including slips, endorsements, and market presentations
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Comfortable working with regulatory and compliance processes within the Lloyd’s/London market
Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience
Hybrid working model (1/2 days in the office)
