Marine Broker Support

A well-established global Lloyd’s Broker is looking to appoint an experienced Marine Broker Support professional to join their collaborative and high-performing Marine team. This is a key role supporting the placement and servicing of a diverse international portfolio of Marine risks.

The position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of the London Market to take the next step in their career, working closely with placing brokers and clients.

• Manage the full pre- and post-placement process, including documentation, Evidence of Cover, and endorsements

• Act as a key liaison between clients, brokers, underwriters, and internal teams

• Maintain strong relationships with clients and markets, ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness

• Support the broking team with marketing materials, contract renewals, and compliance checks

• Coordinate with compliance, legal, and actuarial teams to ensure regulatory standards are met

• Contribute to the preparation of reports, presentations, and data analysis to support placements and renewals

• Assist in drafting slips and reviewing market documentation for accuracy and compliance

• Previous experience in a broker support or technical role within the London Market, ideally within Marine insurance

• Strong understanding of classes such as Marine Hull, Cargo, IV, War, and Liability

• Confident working with documentation including slips, endorsements, and market presentations

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

• Comfortable working with regulatory and compliance processes within the Lloyd’s/London market

• Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience

• Hybrid working model (1/2 days in the office)
