Content & Social Media Manager

Lyra Modest is looking for a strategic Content & Social Media Manager capable of creating engaging content who can execute flawlessly across various channels; this isn't a junior role.

As the voice across social media, the Content & Social Media Manager will help Lyra connect with its growing community, drive engagement, and translate our brand ethos into compelling storytelling.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving startup – perfect for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and wants to build and scale a brand’s digital presence from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a content strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and other relevant platforms
• Ideate and create content (video, photography briefs, copywriting, graphics) aligned with LYRA’s tone of voice and brand values
• Own the content calendar: plan, schedule, and optimise posts
• Engage with our audience daily: respond to comments/DMs, nurture community, and build meaningful connections
• Track and analyse performance metrics to inform future strategy
• Stay on top of social trends, modest fashion trends, and competitor activity
• Collaborate with the founder and wider team to support campaigns, product launches, and partnerships
• Experiment with growth tactics (influencers, collabs, UGC, paid social support) to scale our digital reach

What we're looking for:

• At least 3 years' experience in social media, content marketing, or brand marketing
• Proven ability to grow and engage communities online
• Strong understanding of fashion, culture, and the modest fashion space (or willingness to immerse in it)
• Creative thinker with a strong eye for visuals, copy, and storytelling
• Skilled at creating content directly, e.g. comfortable with Reels/TikTok editing, Canva/relevant Adobe software, etc.
• Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics tools
• Comfortable working independently in a startup environment where you own your domain
