Year 2 Teacher — Battersea
A well-regarded Good school in Battersea seeks a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join its KS1 phase on a Full-Time basis from January 2026 . The successful Year 2 Teacher will take part in pre-term planning before January 2026 , attend induction in January 2026 , and begin teaching from January 2026 . This Year 2 Teacher role is ideal for someone who loves early primary teaching, close parental partnerships and hands-on curriculum work.

Year 2 Teacher Responsibilities
The Year 2 Teacher will deliver systematic phonics, guided reading and well-sequenced writing and maths units. The Year 2 Teacher will track progress, run targeted interventions and lead parental updates and workshop sessions. The Year 2 Teacher will coordinate transition activities to Year 3 and will be part of moderation meetings preceding January 2026and following January 2026 .
Year 2 Teacher Requirements
• QTS and recent KS1 experience required of the Year 2 Teacher .
• Strong phonics practice, effective behaviour strategies and clear communication for the Year 2 Teacher .
• Available to prepare prior to January 2026 , attend induction in January 2026 and teach from January 2026 as a Full-Time Year 2 Teacher .
