The Role - 1:1 KS1 Teaching Assistant We are currently seeking a dedicated 1:1 KS1 Teaching Assistant to work closely with a pupil in Year 2 who has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. As a 1:1 KS1 Teaching Assistant, you will provide consistent, tailored support to help the pupil access the curriculum, regulate emotions, and develop key learning and social skills. You’ll work under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual strategies and track progress effectively. This 1:1 KS1 Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone who is calm, reliable, and understands the importance of routine, structure, and communication strategies such as visual timetables or PECS.
