Senior Practitioner Occupational Therapist
Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Senior Practitioner Occupational Therapist to join its client's forward-thinking Adult Social Care team in Hackney. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead, mentor, and shape practice standards while managing a small caseload of complex cases.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Manage a small caseload of complex/challenging cases
- Mentor and support team members in clinical decision-making
- Supervise students, apprentices, and newly qualified OTs
- Lead on major adaptations and equipment for independence
- Represent the service in strategic initiatives and service development
- Promote high standards in case management, assessments, and written work
- Participate in the OT duty rota and contribute to integrated working
Qualifications & Experience:
- HCPC registration
- Extensive experience in adult social care OT practice
- Strong knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding procedures
- Proven ability to mentor, supervise, and lead others
- Experience with major adaptations and equipment provision
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively across services
