Chef - Nursing Home - North East London - £15p/h
Location: Nursing Home, East London (Outskirts)
Salary: £15 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Patterns: 6am to 4pm or 8am to 6pm, including weekends on a rota basis Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef to join our team at a nursing home located on the outskirts of East London. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing nutritious and appealing meals for our residents, ensuring dietary requirements and preferences are met. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare meals in accordance with nutritional guidelines and individual dietary needs.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety in the kitchen.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with the care staff to understand the dietary needs of residents.
- Ensure meals are served on time and meet quality standards. Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience working as a Chef in a nursing home setting is essential.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food preparation.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills. Working Conditions:
- The role includes working weekends on a rota basis.
