A thriving primary school in the London Borough of Redbridge is seeking an experienced and highly organised Office Manager to lead its administration team. This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished administrator who enjoys leading people, improving systems and ensuring the school office delivers an exceptional service to pupils, parents and staff.
Working closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, you will oversee the daily management of the school office while ensuring administrative procedures are efficient, compliant and responsive to the needs of the wider school community. The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, outstanding organisational ability and a commitment to delivering high-quality administrative support.

Administration Team
The Administration Team is responsible for supporting every aspect of school life. As Office Manager, you will oversee the team while ensuring office procedures remain efficient, professional and compliant with school policies.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing the daily operation of the school office.
Supervising and supporting administrative staff.
Overseeing admissions and pupil administration.
Managing the school's management information system.
Coordinating communication with parents and external agencies.
Supporting financial and purchasing administration.
Preparing reports for senior leaders and governors.
Monitoring office budgets and resource ordering.
Coordinating recruitment administration and personnel records.
Ensuring GDPR compliance across administrative processes.
Supporting school events and leadership administration.
Continuously reviewing and improving office procedures.
The successful candidate will join a dedicated leadership support team where professionalism, collaboration and continuous improvement are highly valued.
Requirements
Previous experience managing a busy school office.
Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Experience using school Management Information Systems.
Good Microsoft Office skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality.
Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
