The successful History Teacher will be both ambitious and committed to the teaching of History. They will bring enthusiasm, dedication and ideas to the department and a desire to promote success, whilst instilling in their students a passion for the subject.
School Information
The school is an 11-16 Mixed Comprehensive serving Dagenham and the surrounding community. It is highly regarded in the local area and recognised as a friendly and welcoming school with high academic standards. The school has a very positive learning culture, and their Ofsted report (2022) graded the school as Outstanding.
Experience and Qualifications
Degree in History or similar
QTS or PGCE
Proven experience teaching History, ideally to GCSE level
Experience of leading or managing a department, or a strong desire to progress into departmental leadership
Salary
The salary for this position will be paid in line with the London MPS/UPS pay scale, depending on experience and qualifications.
