Duties and responsibilities related to the Dim Sum Chef de Partie role
- Assist in creating and following traditional recipes.
- Utilizing traditional Chinese cooking techniques, such as steaming, frying, and baking, specific to dim sum preparation.
- Collaborating with the Sous Chef to design and update the dim sum menu.
- Managing the dim sum station and ensuring it operates smoothly and efficiently.
- Introducing new dim sum items and seasonal specials to keep the menu exciting and diverse.
Supervising the dim sum team, training and overseeing operations.
About you
Experience in high-end Chinese cuisine is essential. Excellent knowledge of food trends, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
