About the role/school

We are delighted to be recruiting for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a thriving three-form-entry primary school in Hounslow from November 2025.

Job Responsibilities

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

Deliver high-quality teaching tailored to pupils with additional needs.

Adapt and differentiate lessons to meet a range of learning requirements.

Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, and external agencies to deliver effective interventions.

Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress, providing feedback and adjusting strategies as needed.

Promote emotional wellbeing, resilience, and independence in pupils.

Manage behaviour effectively, using strategies that foster a supportive learning environment.

Contribute to the wider school community, upholding the inclusive ethos and values.

Qualifications/Experience

The successful SEN Teacher will need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Experience teaching children with SEND in a primary school setting.

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Knowledge of effective strategies to support language, communication, and emotional regulation.

A passion for inclusive education and supporting diverse needs.

Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service.

Right to work in the UK.
