General Manager - British Pullman
As General Manager of the British Pullman, a Belmond Train, you will embrace and deliver the Vision of Belmond, be responsible for strategic planning, efficient operations and leadership, and strive towards Belmond’s brand strategy of being the number one luxury travel experience in the world. Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Curate a world class hospitality experience which fully encompasses a spirit of mindful generosity.
- Set ambitious goals for the business to then drive and support the team to achieve
- Contribute to short and long-term organisational planning and strategy as well as driving Belmond initiatives.
- Work towards ensuring high levels of Employee engagement, as well as positively contributing to the Employee engagement levels of the Company overall.
- Create a work environment that is diverse and respectful, and which provides constant learning and development.
- Mentor and support our existing high performing team, leading by example with genuine care and authenticity.
- Liaise regularly with key providers of business to the product to create and maintain positive relationships.
- Build and maintain a network across the UK rail industry to support the goals of the operation.
- Plan, forecast and budget the revenues and costs for the businesses.
- Support the planning and execution of high value projects in engineering, hospitality and innovation.
- Exceed guests’ expectations through establishing a dynamic service culture within all teams.
- Implement measures to ensure that sustainability is at the forefront of all operations and considered in all decision making.
