We’re looking for a Senior Strategist who understands how to build brands and campaigns in the creator first, fast-moving world of social. You aren't just a planner; you’re a culture-decoder who knows how to bridge the gap between high-level brand thinking and the tactical reality of a creative agency and production studio.
The Role
This is a hands-on leadership role that will help shape the direction of this new department and our output as an agency. You'll directly shape platform-first ideas, inform creative direction, and work closely with creatives, producers, and clients to turn cultural insight into work that travels.
As our Senior Strategist, you will sit at the intersection of insight, creativity, and execution. You’ll be responsible for turning complex client challenges into simple, "thumb-stopping" creative springboards. You will lead the strategic vision for our key accounts, ensuring that everything we produce is rooted in human truth and platform-native behaviour.
You won’t just write decks. You’ll help decide what gets made, how it shows up, and how it earns attention.
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Architecture: Develop social-first brand strategies, ecosystem maps, and creative briefs that excite our designers and directors.
Cultural Intelligence: Stay three steps ahead of trends. You’ll identify emerging behaviours, subcultures, and platform shifts before they hit the mainstream.
The "Production Pivot": Work closely with our in-house production studio to ensure strategic intent isn't lost during the shoot. You understand how a "low-fi" aesthetic can sometimes be a higher-value strategic choice.
Social Listening & Insights: Use data (both quantitative and qualitative) to find the "white space" for our clients. You should be able to tell a story with numbers, not just report them.
Client Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to senior clients, helping them navigate the transition from traditional "broadcast" thinking to a creator-led mindset.
Mentorship: You will guide junior and mid-weight strategists, fostering a culture of curiosity and rigorous thinking within the strategy department.

Platform native: You live on the FYP. You know the difference between a "trend" and a fundamental shift in user behaviour
The "How" & "Why": You can explain why a concept is brilliant and how it will actually work in the fee
Agility: You’re comfortable with the "test and learn" model. You prefer a fast-moving studio environment over a 6-month deck-building cycle
Analytical: You can translate a complex brand positioning into a pithy, actionable creative hook
Strategy & Thinking
Lead strategic thinking across social, content, and campaign briefs
Translate cultural, platform, and audience insight into clear creative direction
Define the role of social within bigger brand and marketing ecosystems
Develop content strategies, platform playbooks, and campaign frameworks
Sense-check ideas against culture, platforms, and performance realities
Creative Collaboration
Partner closely with creative teams from brief through execution
Help shape ideas early. Titles, hooks, formats, narratives, not just the rationale
Bring a strong point of view on what will (and won’t) land on social
Support creators and production teams with strategic clarity
Client & Commercial Impact
Present strategy clearly and confidently to senior clients
Help sell in ideas, approaches, and long-term content systems
Contribute to pitches, new business, and agency POVs
Balance ambition with feasibility, speed, and budget
Culture & Craft
Stay deeply plugged into internet culture, creators, platforms, and trends
Bring fresh thinking on formats, communities, and behaviours
Raise the strategic standard of the work and the team
Experience & Requirements
5+ years of experience in strategy (Social, Digital, or Integrated), ideally within a creative agency, social agency or a high-growth production house.
A portfolio or case studies that demonstrate how your strategy led to measurable cultural impact (not just views or impressions).
Expertise in social analytics tools (e.g., Brandwatch, Sprinklr, or native platform insights).
Deep understanding of the creative and production process, you know what’s achievable on a shoot day and how to maximise campaign assets.
