Geography Teacher - Barnet | Independent School
We are working with a historic independent school in Barnet recruiting for a Geography Teacher. The school views Geography as a vital subject for understanding the modern world and places a high value on fieldwork and environmental education.
The Role You will teach Physical and Human Geography at KS3, KS4, and A-Level. The role emphasizes the use of GIS technology and local fieldwork to bring the subject to life for students of all abilities. Key responsibilities include:
Delivering engaging Geography lessons that incorporate global contemporary issues
Leading and coordinating local and international fieldwork trips
Utilizing ArcGIS and other digital mapping tools within the curriculum
Contributing to the school’s environmental and sustainability committees
Providing high-quality feedback to students to support their academic growth
