What You Will Do:

\n

\n

Consultants have responsibility for project deliverables, solution implementation and generation of project results. They contribute to project workstreams and interact with the project team daily to ensure engagement success. This includes supporting day-to-day operational meetings with client sponsors and consulting leaders. Consultants are expected to prepare and communicate well-organized, effective reports and presentations to client and internal executives.

Responsibilities include:

\n
    \n
  • \n

    Design project plans, own project status reporting, and manage tracking of client deliverables.

  • \n
  • \n

    Work with business units and process owners to map existing processes using Microsoft Visio.

  • \n
  • \n

    Conduct detailed analysis on client projects and turn into actionable insights through compelling narratives using Microsoft Powerpoint, PowerBI or, Tableau.

  • \n
  • \n

    Assist Senior Consultants and Managers with project execution including: assessing, measuring, monitoring, reporting and remediating operational risk and controls in new or existing business processes.

  • \n
  • \n

    Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.

  • \n
  • \n

    Support team in preparing responses for Request for Proposals (RFPs) for prospective clients.

  • \n
  • \n

    Help clients develop or implement operational risk management frameworks, guidelines, and policies whilst ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements in multiple jurisdictions.

What You Will Need:

\n
    \n
  • \n

    Bachelor’s degree.

  • \n
  • \n

    1 (ONE) or more years of experience of banking industry or commercial financial services consulting

  • \n
  • \n

    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced challenging and client focused environment where priorities and scope may change quickly.

  • \n
  • \n

    Ability to travel for client engagements if required.

  • \n
  • \n

    Right to Work in the UK e.g. UK Passport, Ireland Passport (Common Travel Area Agreement), Indefinite Leave to Remain, EU Settled Status.

  • \n
\n

\n

\n

What Would Be Nice To Have:

    \n
  • \n

    Prior management consulting experience.

  • \n
  • \n

    Experience in the following areas:

  • \n
  • \n

    Operational risk and/or big bank compliance (first or second line of defense).

  • \n
  • \n

    Banking regulations, compliance, and risk management requirements.

  • \n
  • \n

    Experience with risk and controls current state assessments (including process mapping).

  • \n
  • \n

    ACCA, Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or other relevant certifications.

  • \n
  • \n

    MBA or MA/MS degree in a related field.

  • \n
