Key Account Manager - Heathrow

A typical day as a Key Account Manager

No two days look exactly the same here, and that’s part of what makes it work.

As a Key Account Manager , you’ll play a key part in keeping things moving for our customers, suppliers and The Pros around you. You’ll take ownership, solve problems properly, and work with people across the business to make things simpler, faster and better.

You’ll be trusted to get stuck in, make decisions, and see things through.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing day-to-day delivery across Heathrow projects and key contractor accounts, coordinating plant, equipment, consumables and service requirements across live operational environments

• Building strong working relationships with site teams, procurement leads and operational stakeholders across the UK's largest airport programme

• Conducting regular customer reviews and site visits to keep engagement strong and spot opportunities for growth

• Taking a consultative approach to account management, working closely with sales, operations, procurement and supply chain to deliver joined-up solutions rather than working in silos

• Owning KPI, SLA and compliance performance, sorting operational inefficiencies at the root to improve both customer experience and commercial results

• Supporting project mobilisation - forecasting, planning, reporting and supply chain coordination to keep delivery on track

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone who knows how to get things done and works well with others to make it happen.

You don’t need to tick every single box, but you’ll likely bring:

• Experience working at Heathrow Airport or Heathrow Operations - this one's essential

• A background in construction, hire, utilities or industrial supply environments

• A strong understanding of major project operations and what customers expect from them

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships on-site

• The ability to manage multiple workstreams and stay on top of things in a fast-paced environment

• A commercially aware, proactive and solutions-led mindset — you sort problems rather than passing them on

• Comfort working both strategically and operationally, from mobilisation through to project delivery on live sites

• Strong organisational skills with a sharp eye for detail

• A full UK driving licence
