SEN TA | Greenwich | January 2026

We are recruiting a SEN TA for a supportive school in Greenwich. The SEN TA will deliver targeted one-to-one and small-group work, assist with communication programmes and sensory strategies, and work under the direction of the SENCo to monitor progress. This SEN TA vacancy begins January 2026, with thorough induction and handover provided before January 2026 so the SEN TA can start the spring term confident and prepared.

Role: SEN TA — Greenwich
Start date: January 2026
Contract: Permanent / Part-Time or Full-Time (school dependent)
Main duties
Deliver structured interventions and record progress, feeding back to the SENCo as a SEN TA.
Support in-class learning by scaffolding tasks and modelling strategies to promote independence.
Assist with sensory regulation, social skills groups and personal-care routines where required.
Liaise with families, therapists and external professionals and contribute to review meetings in Greenwich.
Prepare concise handovers and support transition arrangements to ensure continuity of provision.
Person specification
Demonstrable experience supporting pupils with SEND and delivering evidence-informed programmes as a SEN TA.
Patient, adaptable and an effective communicator within the Greenwich school community.
Strong organisational skills, accurate record-keeping and a collaborative approach.
Ready to commence January 2026 and to attend pre-start induction before January 2026.
