Research Associate
- PhD awarded in healthcare science/physiology/sport and exercise medical sciences *
- Good knowledge of cardiorespiratory and muscle physiology
- Previous experience in physiological measurement of cardiac, lung or muscle function
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues, patients, relatives, GPs and other agencies
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Enthusiasm and ability to work under pressure
- Basic statistical knowledge
- Previous experience of work in a healthcare setting
- Previous project management and/or research experience
- Presentation of research at national/international meetings
- Personal commitment to physiological research
