ScotRail’s Head of Commercial Development is responsible for delivering our commercial strategy, driving revenue and journey growth by creating the vision and setting strategic objectives to drive performance. In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will create a rail fares and product roadmap to meet our customers’ expectations whilst leveraging technology to deliver an outstanding experience across every touchpoint including online, in-station, and on-board our trains. The successful candidate will own the customer journey, ensuring it’s inclusive and accessible, whilst leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects that make rail the first choice for travel. What you bring * Demonstrable success in a senior commercial leadership role, with a proven ability to drive sustained revenue growth to enhance business performance and customer value. * A decisive and strategic leader with extensive experience managing large financial budgets and commercial contracts. * Highly skilled and experienced in identifying revenue opportunities and utilising technology to enhance the customer experience. * Effective communicator with experience influencing and positively challenging Board level and external stakeholders. * An impactful leader who can bring energy, creativity, and a dynamic approach to engage their team and drive performance. Please note – ScotRail offers a hybrid working model which is typically 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
