The College is a specialist college for Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) students who are committed to offering educational, vocational, and social opportunities for our students in their communities.

This is an exciting time to join the growing clinical team supporting the college. This post provides the successful Speech and Language Therapist / SALT with an opportunity to help develop the Speech and Language Therapy offer working alongside the Lead Clinician, Regional Clinical Lead and Head of Speech and Language Therapy.

The school is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech and Language Therapist / SALT to take on this role for a long-term placement. The successful Speech and Language Therapist / SALT will have day-to-day responsibility for the operation of the SEND policy and the co-ordination of specific provision made to support our pupils who have EHC plans. The SENCO will provide professional guidance to colleagues and liaise and work with staff, parents, and other agencies to make sure that pupils with SEN receive appropriate support and high-quality teaching.

The successful Speech and Language Therapist / SALT will have:

• Speech and Language Therapy degree
• Registered with HCPC and RCSLT or RCOT
• 1-2 yrs experience as a fully registered member of the RCSLT working in a similar setting.
• Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
