An Outstanding Sixth Form in Harrow is seeking a permanent, full-time Teacher of Religious Education, starting January 2026. This role offers an opportunity to teach within a high-performing Humanities faculty.

Responsibilities

• You will deliver stimulating and rigorous instruction across Key Stages 3, 4 (GCSE), and 5 (A-Level) (e.g., Philosophy & Ethics).
• Your focus is driving high attainment and fostering sophisticated textual analysis, critical philosophical thinking, and respectful dialogue.
• You will contribute to the rich PSHE and values programmes within the school.
• You are expected to maintain the department's track record of excellent A-Level results and support students in university applications for related subjects.

Requirements

• You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• You must have passed your induction period and have a strong record of teaching success, particularly in RE/Philosophy & Ethics at A-Level.
• You must have the right to work in the UK.
• You must hold a Degree in Theology, Philosophy, RE, or a closely related field.
