Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Trading Application Support Engineer to join our high profile client.

Our client has recently been voted in the fintech 100 (best financial technology businesses). They provide a market leading Execution Management System for buy and sell side clients as well as Algo Execution. They have offices globally (travel arranged for your benefit if wanted)

The Support Analyst will work with the client support and implementation team to monitor and investigate issues with high frequency trading applications evaluate and identifies operating issues within production, in addition to understanding business side problems that may be occurring.

The client trades across Equities, Fixed Income, and FX

On a day to Day basis the Support Specialist will:

• Support a large scale OMS / EMS platform with multiple buy side clients
• Provide first level support across global markets and multiple asset classes for client queries and issues
• Monitoring all trade transactions from initial request to execution and settlement
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical queries
• Training clients on system functionality across all product offerings
• Managing clients’ system usage and retention
• On-boarding clients

This role is looking to progress to a team lead position within a year. The business in the UK is still relatively small and looking to grow aggressively due to a number of high profile mergers. If you are looking for instant responsibility in a constantly changing environment, this is for you.

Application Support Specialists MUST have:

• Trade support experience or application support experience
• Ideally experience of OMS or EMS Systems
• Ability to think outside the box somewhat
• Basic knowledge of equities trading; Knowledge of options and futures a plus
• SQL or FIX
