Deputy Headteacher
A well-established and highly supportive Specialist SEN School in Lewisham , rated Good by Ofsted , is seeking an experienced and driven Deputy Headteacher to join their leadership team.
This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key leadership role within a school supporting pupils aged 5 25 with Autism, Speech & Language needs, and SEMH .
Role Details• Deputy Headteacher
• Full-time
• Long-term or permanent (depending on suitability)
• Lewisham
You will work closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to support the day-to-day running of the school and drive high-quality SEN provision.
Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting staff development and performance
• Leading on behaviour, safeguarding and inclusion
• Ensuring strong teaching and learning across the school
• Supporting a curriculum tailored to pupil ability
• Specialist SEN provision for pupils aged 5 25
• Good Ofsted rating
• Strong focus on Autism, Speech & Language and SEMH
• Excellent CPD and ongoing training opportunities
• Highly collaborative team strong staff support throughout
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• SEN school experience
• Leadership or middle leadership experience
• Strong understanding of inclusive SEN provision
