Global Head of Talent - contract to perm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Talent leader to join a highly successful international professional services organisation as Global Head of Talent. Starting as a FTC contract ideally looking to go perm.

Based in London – hybrid working – 1/2 days a week in office (potentially look at remote with the occasionally visit to office)

Operating across multiple continents, this organisation is embarking on the next phase of its people strategy and is seeking a visionary leader to shape and deliver a truly integrated global talent agenda.

Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, this role will bring together Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Leadership Development, Succession Planning and Internal Mobility under one strategic function.

This is a high–profile leadership position that will play a critical role in ensuring the business attracts, develops and retains exceptional talent while building the leadership capability required to support future growth.

The Role

As Global Head of Talent, you will design and execute a comprehensive talent strategy that connects every stage of the employee lifecycle, from attraction and onboarding through to development, succession and leadership progression.

Working closely with executive stakeholders and regional leaders, you will establish global frameworks, governance and standards while enabling local markets to tailor talent initiatives to meet their specific business needs.

You will also lead and develop a global team, partnering with senior leaders across multiple countries to strengthen organisational capability and future leadership pipelines.

Experience

We are looking for a commercially focused Talent leader who combines strategic thinking with operational excellence.

You will bring:

• Significant experience leading both Talent Acquisition and Talent Management functions within a global organisation
• A background within a people–led professional services environment
• Strong expertise across leadership development, succession planning, learning, performance management and workforce planning
• Experience operating internationally across multiple regions and cultures
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence Executive and Board–level leaders
• A data–driven approach to talent strategy and decision making
• Experience implementing and optimising talent technology platforms and learning systems
• A track record of leading large–scale people or talent transformation programmes

Professional coaching qualifications and experience with psychometric assessment tools would be advantageous.
