Overview

Gallagher’s Digital team designs, builds and delivers the firm’s core digital and analytics platforms, including Gallagher Drive, Gallagher Go and Gallagher Guide. The team sits at the centre of Gallagher’s growth strategy, embedding data, analytics and digital tools into client, producer and consultant workflows across Retail, Specialty and Global businesses.

Within Digital, the Risk Analytics & Consulting function partners directly with UK client teams and producers to translate data into insight. The team supports new business, renewals and strategic client conversations by providing analytics led perspectives on risk, pricing, coverage, claims and market positioning, helping clients make informed decisions with confidence.

You will partner with senior stakeholders across Retail, Specialty, and Global businesses, contributing directly to growth, retention, and client outcomes, rather than being confined to back-office reporting.

How you'll make an impact

As a Risk Analytics Consultant, you will work closely with UK client teams, producers and senior stakeholders to deliver data driven insights that support sales, retention and client strategy. You will use Gallagher’s analytics platforms and datasets to turn complex risk information into clear, compelling outputs that enhance client conversations and differentiate Gallagher in the market.

This is a client facing, consultative role that blends analytics, storytelling and commercial awareness.

Core Responsibilities

  • Translate complex risk, claims and premium data into clear, client ready narratives and visuals
  • Partner with UK producers, account executives and service teams to identify growth opportunities and whitespace
  • Support new business and renewal activity by delivering analytics led insights for client and prospect meetings, and contribute to renewal strategy, helping clients understand risk trends, loss drivers and programme performance
  • Support the adoption and effective use of digital analytics tools across UK teams through coaching and collaboration and help drive the development of new products and solutions
  • Work with global digital, product and analytics colleagues to feedback client needs and improve tools and output.

About You

  • Previous experience gained working in a Risk Consultant/Management role in the insurance industry would be ideal. We are also open to Insurance Brokers(Development Executives, Account Executives, Producers) who would be looking for a change of direction and would like to support sales from a data/analytics perspective.
  • Risk management knowledge across areas such as benchmarking, risk financing, risk modelling, claims, loss control/safety, InsurTechs, Raw Material Information Systems, cyber security, or Enterprise Risk Management would be advantageous.
  • Ability to gather, analyse, synthesise, and draw logical conclusions from data
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
  • Knowledge of statistics and other analytical approaches
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with geographically dispersed teams
  • Insurance brokerage operations, P&C carrier operations or risk manager experience preferable
  • Experience with Data Visualisation tools (i.e. Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau, Qlikview and Large Language Model)
