DT Technician | Islington (Inner London)
We are excited to be working with a highly regarded Independent school in Islington to recruit a committed DT Technician. This full-time, permanent position starts in April 2026 and is an excellent opportunity for a creative professional to join a high-performing department. Responsibilities
Provide high-calibre technical assistance to teachers and pupils during DT practicals
Oversee the maintenance of 3D printers, laser cutters, and traditional woodwork machinery
Ensure the workshop environment is kept to an outstanding quality of cleanliness and safety
Prepare bespoke material kits for student projects across all key stages
Participate in a strong culture of professional development to refine your technical skills
Qualifications and Experience
Experience in a school, college, or commercial workshop environment
High standards of professional presentation and punctuality
Strong interpersonal skills and a professional manner
Must have the right to work in the UK
